CultureCode is a facilitation, training, coaching and consulting company that helps individuals and organisations to achieve positive results — all informed by the latest thinking and applications in human behaviour, motivation, emotional intelligence and neuroscience.

CultureCode exists to help create organisations worth caring about, that people want to engage with.
It does this by helping to create brain-friendly and enabling organisational cultures, compelling motivation initiatives and employee value propositions, and organisationally-aligned people-centred strategies, practices, programmes, processes and policies that help to deliver improved performance, and ultimately bottom-line success, in mutually-beneficial employee/ employer exchange relationships.
For customers, consumers, partners, suppliers and other external stakeholders, it does this by facilitating the development and implementation of compelling stakeholder-specific value propositions and engagement strategies on behalf of its clients.
Through its work with individuals, organisations and their people, both internal and external to the organisation, CultureCode's ultimate aim is to contribute to a healthier, happier, and more harmonious broader societal culture.
CultureCode's purpose and mission are paramount. We put people at the centre of all we do. We believe in the potential of people and what we do, and we do it with heart.
Integrity, trust, honesty, transparency and mutually-beneficial relationships are non-negotiable.
We are insatiably curious and on a continual mission to learn, grow and develop in order to provide the most effective and efficient, up-to-date and innovative, people-centred solutions for our clients and their stakeholders.
Before starting CultureCode in 2014, Marie-Claire spent ten years with one of South Africa's leading performance improvement companies. There, she worked with organisations to help them to motivate, engage, recognise and reward their people, their channel partners and other stakeholders, with a primary focus on workforce initiatives for large corporates in South Africa. Prior to that, she spent a long stretch in marketing and advertising on both the agency and the client side of the business.
This 20-year career path has resulted in a holistic outside-in business consulting approach: organisational performance informed by the broader stakeholder and customer experience, ensuring alignment of the organisation through the service-profit chain.
Marie-Claire holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology from the University of the Witswatersrand, is a Six Seconds certified EQ Practitioner and Assessor, and a Neuroleadership Institute certified Brain-Based Coach. She sits on the SARA (South African Rewards Association) Executive Committee and chairs its Stakeholder Engagement, Marketing and Communications portfolio. Her Noble Goal is To walk in Beauty and be a catalyst for positive change.
